Å Journal Issue I — The New Spirit

Inspired by the 1920 publication L’Esprit Nouveau, the first issue of Å Journal explored art, design and everyday life through a contemporary lens.
Kama conceived and directed the project, bringing together diverse disciplines across art, architecture, fashion, food, wellness and science to create a poetic editorial narrative exploring new perspectives on modern living.
The publication established the foundation for Å Journal’s approach to thoughtful storytelling and conscious production, examining the relationship between aesthetics, nature and material culture while exploring how everyday objects, practices and ideas shape contemporary life.
