CONCEPT
A multi-sensory collaboration developed for Å Journal Issue III, exploring scent as an intangible yet powerful form of storytelling. Translating the identity of the publication into a fragrance, the project involved the creative development of a natural perfume in collaboration with Japanese perfumer Ryoko Hori of Senses Salon, alongside a bespoke ceramic vessel created by artist Cuze.
Through the selection of olfactory directions, materials and collaborators, the project extended Å Journal’s editorial vision beyond the printed page, transforming an abstract concept into a tactile and sensory experience that brought together fragrance, craftsmanship and publishing.
