“Common Ground” Show Scenography
Stella McCartney | Villa Eugénie x IFM Paris | 2025
Common Ground explores the relationship between fashion, nature, and community. Inspired by land art, the show’s scenography transforms the landscape itself into a living stage. The audience sits within circular earth-formed seats, creating a sense of gathering and connection to the environment.
Materials, lighting, and sound are chosen to highlight the beauty and rhythm of the natural world. After the show, the sculpted structure remains on site as a gesture of giving back to the city, encouraging ongoing interaction.
The project draws inspiration from environmental artists like Tanya Preminger, whose work integrates human creativity directly into the landscape. Common Ground is a celebration of sustainability, artistic experimentation, and immersive experience, where the boundaries between people, fashion, and nature dissolve.
